I'm also riding the current when it comes to this blog. I'm not really sure what it is going to become, but I do know that I only want to write what comes from the heart, what gives you a sense of the beauty I have found in Flamenco and how I feel it pertains to life. I hope you will join me for the ride.
So I quit the day job back in November for what seemed like an easy opportunity that didn't pan out. I'm so glad it didn't. I had a brief moment of "What am I going to do?" mixed with relief since I ultimately didn't really like the gig that fell through. It wasn't me. I didn't have to worry though--"What am I going to do?" was soon answered with lots and lots of work. The past few months have gotten busier and busier, always suddenly, always unexpected, and always fun. What I have learned in the last few months is that everything is always perfect as it is. I sometimes forget this is the case, but it's true. A perceived failure or slip-up, is an opening to a new opportunity. You just have to breathe it in and ride that current.
